XlsOpen is a mobile application available for iPhone and iPad, offering an adaptation of the powerful spreadsheet software Gnumeric. Gnumeric is a widely-used computer program designed for manipulating and analyzing numeric data. With Gnumeric, users can efficiently manage information in lists, organize numeric values in columns and rows, perform complex calculations with the ability to define and adjust each step, create graphical plots in various formats such as bar plots, line graphs, pie charts, and radar charts, as well as undertake tasks involving numbers, dates, times, and more.

XlsOpen inherits essential features from Gnumeric:

 <li>Integration of 100% of the worksheet functions found in MS Excel</li>
 <li>Support for arrays values and formulas</li>
 <li>Toolbar facilitating common operations like Zoom</li>
 <li>Availability of sheet objects including Lines, Arrows, Ellipses, Squares, Buttons, Scrollbars, Checkboxes, Images, and Charts</li>
 <li>Compatibility with various Excel formats: number, currency, accounting, date, time, percentage, fraction, scientific notation, and text</li>
 <li>Filters to handle different file formats: XML (gnumeric format), MS Excel (2 - XP), Applix (4 - 5), CSV (comma-separated values), Lotus 1-2-3 .wk1</li>

XlsOpen essentially serves as a remote execution platform for the Gnumeric software. The subscription model within the app includes:

 <li>Auto-renewal feature enables uninterrupted access to the ad-free app experience</li>
 <li>Payment will be processed via the iTunes Account upon confirmation of purchase</li>
 <li>Auto-renewal is automatically activated but can be disabled at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends</li>
 <li>User accessibility to manage subscriptions and disable auto-renewal through Account Settings post-purchase</li>
